Ripping FC5 DVD to iso file

Try "dd if=/dev/hda of=FC5-x86_64-dvd.iso bs=2048".

Not that this may not work for dual layer dvd's.


You need to do an sha1sum on the DVD itself to make sure it matches the
original image.
