FC5 - anyone got kernel sources working?

What I did was to yum update, and then yum install kernel-devel, vmware 
stuff was then compilable.

To confuse matters further on my x86_64 box, only SMP kernels are 
available now and they are named as the Uniprocessor kernel packages in 
previous times.
