NEDIT + Red Hat Issue

You may change LANG for all apps via ~/.i18n. Mine looks like:

    LANG="en_US"
    SUPPORTED="en_US.UTF-8:en_US:en"
    SYSFONT="latarcyrheb-sun16"

Compare this to /etc/sysconfig/i18n. This seems to fix a few other
things for me, like man pages that are garbled with
LANG="en_US.UTF-8". Maybe someone else can comment on the wisdom of
this.
