yum cannot find a valid baseurl for repo

Hi list,

i have installed FC5 ,when i try to update the system it says:
# yum -y update
Loading "installonlyn" plugin
Setting up Update Process
Setting up repositories
core                                                                 [1/4]
Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: core
Error: Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: core


this is my yum.conf:
[main]
cachedir=/var/cache/yum
keepcache=0
debuglevel=2
logfile=/var/log/yum.log
pkgpolicy=newest
distroverpkg=redhat-release
tolerant=1
exactarch=1
obsoletes=1
gpgcheck=1
plugins=1
metadata_expire=1800

# PUT YOUR REPOS HERE OR IN separate files named file.repo
# in /etc/yum.repos.d

and the repos like fedora-core.repo,fedora-extras.repo,... are in /etc/yum.repos.d
can someone give me a clue? should i modify yum.conf?
