SELinux has nothing to do with firewalls and the presence of a firewall
doesnt alleviate the risks that SELinux tries to prevent.
http://fedora.redhat.com/docs/selinux-faq-fc5/. In many occasions these
programs represent flaws that SELinux detects. You are shooting the
messenger.
