toshiba M70 and FC

Hi
the laptop boots with FC4 and RHCE 4. it gives the first boot window, then
, it prints some text (uncompressing linux  .......................)
but next, it blocks (no hardware activity, nothing on the screen).
can you help please.

Hello Adel, I ran FC4 on a M70 and upgraded now to FC5 with no significant
problem.
what I remember though from the FC4 install was a bug in theinstallation
procedure which resulted in a message like "kernel panic" or so. Is this the
message you get?
