./configure command

Oh, and I forgot to mention...

If he's going to build the RPM himself, he still needs to run
./configure + make, and for that he *still* needs to get gcc
first. So, even if he's going to follow your advice about learning
how to build an RPM, he needs the answer you so cleverly refused
to give.
