Questions about the new mount system: "gnome-mount"?

Immediately after I made my first changes to /etc/fstab and saved it, I
got a KDE popup window about media being detected in a certain drive,
and did I want to mount it.  I clicked the desktop access button and
discovered that my cdrecorder icon had re-appeared :)  I followed
similar steps with our cdrom and our flash drive, all with perfect
success.

Would still like to know though, are there any other KDE users having
similar difficulties since upgrading to FC5?  If so, I would be more
than willing to either start a bug report, or add my comments to one
that someone else started.  This is the ONLY FC5 specific problem that
I have had since I went from FC3 to FC5 (both fresh installs)  Well,
that's not Completely true: right "out of the box" I discovered that
the new redhat-menus rpm totally destroyed my KDE (SVN, Branch 3.5)
start menu.  I did come up with a "workaround" --> Heh Heh!  It is as
follows:
rpm -e --nodeps redhat-menus

More on that in another thread that I might start on this weekend :)
