beagle search fails to find new documents ?

Hi,

I've been playing a little with beagle, and it seems potentially great. 
However, I've noticed that if I search for a certain string, which I know is 
in some files, it does not find them. It DOES find the same string in older 
files (same type). It seems like it is not finding or noticing any files I 
have created since I first started playing with beagle, since I have yet to 
see them appear in any search I try.

I've tried looking into what beagle is doing with the various beagle-XXX 
commands, not not really understood what I'm seeing. 

Can anyone suggest what to do / look for to see if beagle is mis-behaving ?
