Hello all,

I was wandering if any of you email server admins has gotten this as a
bounce back from AOL:

[snip]
Reason: SMTP transmission failure has occurred
Diagnostic code: smtp;554-: (RLY:CS4)
http://postmaster.info.aol.com/errors/421rlycs4.html TRANSACTION FAILED
Remote system: dns;mailin-04.mx.aol.com
(TCP|206.46.252.46|48839|64.12.138.89|25) (rly-xl02.mx.aol.com ESMTP
mail_relay_in-xl2.5; Sun, 09 Apr 2006 17:39:23 -0400)
[/snip]

I know AOL stinks LOL but is it them or me?? I did a chkrootkit and
scanned some other things and found nothing. I emptied the virus
quarantine directory.

This was from the web server authing against my ISP SMTP server. I
changed it to auth against my mail server and it appears to be working
now. Am I missing something? I am mostly curious as to what is up :)

Thanks
