Sound Issue in Fedora Core 5 with Asus P4R800-V Delux with Built-in ADI 1888 Sound Card

Anne,

I do see channel for IE958 Optical in my alsamixer; however, it is NM,
not enabled. I do not know how to enable things in the alsamixer. Is
there anyway to enable that? If that is doable, then I think the
problem is solved.
