	You shouldn't use the -U option when installing kernels as that will
remove older kernels!  Use rpm -ivh instead.  the --oldpackages is not
required either.

	As someone also pointed out, it is doubtful that a 2.4 kernel will even
work in FC4 and above, due to the many changes in the OS (dbus, sysfs
etc.) it would be far easier to install a minimal FC1 in a small
partition or possibly a live cd.
