FC3 to FC4 Update jbd.ko modKernel Panic

Hello,

currently i am trying to update FC3 to FC4 (following the guides at [url=http://www.brandonhutchinson.com/Upgrading_Red_Hat_Linux_with_yum.html]brandonhutchinson.com[/url])

hardware details: 
Opteron 146, 2GB RAM, 3Ware Hardware RAID1 SATA, Onboard dual 1gb nic (Tigon3 - BCM95704A6)

After mkinitrd upgrade, kernel update and rebooting into the new kernel i get following error (booting the old FC3 Kernel works fine ...) :
