They are.  And to get it to boot, "noapic noacpi irqpoll 
pd-=assign-busses lapic" are the extra options.

I may try removing them one at a time just for grins.  Anybody that can 
suggest likely reduced combo's that would still work, please chime 
in :)

People having trouble with vz bouncing email to me should add the word
'online' between the 'verizon', and the dot which bypasses vz's
stupid bounce rules.  I do use spamassassin too. :-)
