Xserver crash from copy and paste into browser

I was wondering if someone can reproduce this or provide some insight
into this problem.

Using mozilla I went to
http://svn.wp-plugins.org/secure-image/trunk/secureimage.php
and copied the entire text (Ctrl-A, Right-Click Copy).
Then I pasted that text into a web text form (TEXTAREA location),
for example (only): http://babelfish.altavista.com/

Before I can do anything (move a scroll bar), the X-server completely
crashes and kicks me out to the login screen.

So I tried taking a VERY large text file (~3MB) and pasting it into a
text area form and it works fine.
