Scipy doesn't seem to be packaged in the standard repositories.  There had
been some talk about putting it in Extras.  Scipy can be installed from the
SciPy web site <http://www.scipy.org>, from source, but that would likely
be difficult for you (maybe for me as well).  I haven't looked hard for a
RPM.
