One more thing to check, Bob : are you running IPv6? Not sure if it can
slow down name resolution, but it sure used to slow down web browsing. 

P/S: everytime I say/write Bob, I can't help but think of that character
in "the Incredibles". My nieces watch that show over and over and
over ...
