FC-5 my display (fonts) looks terrible

A guy posted the answer yesterday - you need to gratuitously change the
Control Center | Appearance and Themes | Configure... button | Exclude
Range checkbox, Apply, then change it back to what you had before. Then
exit and restart Firefox and it all looks lovely.
