PHP-GD not work

Hum something is broken with the script somewhere, it does not produce 
an <img> tag in the HTML in order to show the image, and the HTML is in 
fact incomplete like the script dropped dead in the middle.  I would 
really expect something about it in /var/log/httpd/error_log
