Try looking in System|Preferences|Keyboard Shortcuts That was the Gnome menu I used to change some of the default keyboard shortcuts back to things that I liked. Perhaps shift+ctrl+C means something to Gnome. Alternatively, if you are using KDE, look for a similar type of configuration menu in KDE. --wpd
