Sounds like the RPM may have not dropped the flash plugin files into
the right place.
Take a look in ~/.mozilla/plugins and see if these two files are there:
flashplayer.xpt
libflashplayer.so
If not, find where the installer put them and copy them to that location.
Then exit firefox and restart it, and then the flash plugin should work.
