NetworkManager question

Is there a way to take out wireless configruations out of
NetworkManager after they have been entered?

I am having problems connecting to accesspoints that have either been
entered in more than once or have had their ssid changed to a new
ssid.  It still tries to connect to the old ssid first, and sometimes
fails to connect.
