ppdev0: failed to register device!

Hi, I'm trying to use an application to handle a device using parallel
port (lp0 or parport0).

The aplication needs exclusive access to device, bug appears that
something is broken (or I don't know what) with my lp0/parport0 device:

parport0: cannot grant exclusive access for device ppdev0
ppdev0: failed to register device!

I stopped cups and cups-config-daemon, and lsof /dev/parport0 or /dev/lp0
said blank output (no proccess using the device).

Could anyone help me please?
