It can be done from command line.
$ STR1="hello" ; STR2="world" ; if [ "$STR1" == "$STR2" ]; then echo
Match; else echo No match; fi
No match.
$ STR1="hello" ; STR2="hello" ; if [ "$STR1" == "$STR2" ]; then echo
Match; else echo No match; fi
Match
