The real solution would be something of an LSB for file locations. If 
all distros would come up with an united schema for file locations and 
such, this would be less of a problem.

I am sure a few of us have heard: "I don't know where to find stuff" or 
"Why is the is /sbin on this distro and this in /usr/bin in that distro."
