Hi folks,

Is there any way to tune up SCSI HD parameters to make its transfer rate faster?
I've entry like this on my /var/log/messages

  scsi0 : ioc0: LSI53C1030, FwRev=01032700h, Ports=1, MaxQ=222, IRQ=177
Vendor: SEAGATE Model: ST373454LW Rev: 0003
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 03
 target0:0:0: Beginning Domain Validation
 target0:0:0: Ending Domain Validation
target0:0:0: FAST-160 WIDE SCSI 320.0 MB/s DT IU QAS RTI WRFLOW PCOMP (6.25 ns, offset 63)
SCSI device sda: 143374744 512-byte hdwr sectors (73408 MB)
sda: Write Protect is off
sda: Mode Sense: ab 00 10 08
SCSI device sda: drive cache: write back w/ FUA
SCSI device sda: 143374744 512-byte hdwr sectors (73408 MB)
sda: Write Protect is off
sda: Mode Sense: ab 00 10 08
SCSI device sda: drive cache: write back w/ FUA
 sda: sda1 sda2 sda3 sda4 < sda5 sda6 >

  Even it said 320.0 MB/s but I got only 88.54 MB/s.

  [root at fc6 ~]# hdparm -tT /dev/sda3
  /dev/sda3:
 Timing cached reads: 2824 MB in 2.00 seconds = 1412.18 MB/sec
 Timing buffered disk reads: 266 MB in 3.00 seconds = 88.54 MB/sec

Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  regards,
Zul
