DivX 5 codec not found

Dear All

Before 'yum update', I was able to play a certain AVI file, but not
now. It asks me for the

DivX 5 codec.

I have all-20061022.tar.bz2 (from Mplayer site) unpacked in the directory

/usr/lib/codecs

Any ideas?
