which adsl router are you using ?
Let's say it gives you an RJ45 output , in that case hopefully you need not
run adsl-setup .
all router comes with a web interface with default ip of 192.168.1.1  or so
.
Let's first know if yours is a specific router which doesent have a RJ45
output .
