gtk pixbuf woes after updating from fc3 to fc6

What method was used for the update ?

Perhaps there is some non-fc6 packages still installed ?
rpm -qa|grep fc3  or FC3

Also, maybe use rpm to verify that packages that are installed have all 
files installed:
rpm -Va
