Anyone playing "Battle of Wesnoth"?

Good suggestion, but it makes no difference.  This is something particular 
to wesnoth.  The background musix in supertux -- which also uses SDL -- is 
fine.  I'm getting static only from wesnoth.  I should clarify -- wesnoth's 
background music is audible, except that there's a brief burst of static 
every other second, or so.
