ALT+CNTRL+F1-F6 blank display!!

Same thing here but I could narrow it down. 
This only happens after a suspend/resume cycle. 
All text-consols work fine after a fresh reboot.

System: Thinkpad R50p, latest patches (including Kernel) applied
