Bootup Slow FC4!

The bootup is EXTREMELY slow!
starting udev: ..[dots truncated].....OK
initializing hardware..[dots truncated]......storage........[dots
truncated]network.[dots truncated A LOT!!!] .......audio.. [MORE
TRUNCATED!].....OK
OMG! THIS IS SO SLOW! augh! it's been 5 minutes already!

I need a new installation, so can I just deelte the partition and then
reinstall it? Or do I need to muck around GRUB? thank you
