Testing the FC5 releases would not be a true/valid test when run inside
another app such as vmware because of the extra layer of software. A
true test would only occur if the new OS is running on the physical
hardware, not on a virtual machine.
Why not install it on a second hard drive/partition and dual boot? That
would not disturb your current installation, and would allow the new OS
to access the hardware directly.
