If you manually unmount, add the line to the fstab file, then
do a 'mount -a' from the command line it won't be fatal if
you have an error and if it is correct it will mount again.
At boot time an error will drop you to a command prompt
where you can enter the root password and recover. It's
a good idea to know how to do that too...
