     This may just be me, however I see a few issues with this myself.
 For one, most people switch to open source projects for two main
reasons, the community and the fact they get to participate if they so
choice, and the products are free.  Sure the later is more of
greediness then anything else, but it is the truth.  Veering away from
massive over powering companies such as Microsoft who swindle you for
every dime.

     By converting Fedora over to a subscription based project negates
both of the true open source foundations, community, and freedom. 
Limiting the input and development to those who can afford to pay, and
rating users input based on who can throw in the most money will only
transform the open source project into a make-shift proprietary
circus.  Again, I may be way off line here.  But it seems that a
minority (the ones with the money) controlling the majority (the broke
ones) is exactly the stance proprietary power houses follow.

     Although a good solid income for Fedora, will only better the
project, limiting the community input will kill it.  Its basically
cutting off your nose to spite your face.  As I answered in the
survey.  I would donate to Fedora, but I am not so sure I would "pay"
to be part of a closed door community for something that claims to be
a community, promoting freedom.

     Now, I know that, as of right now, Fedora isn't in such a state
of dismay, and I support Fedora 100%.  I am only stating that if it
came to such an extreme, my support for Fedora would diminish.  I also
understand this was simply "an idea".  And its not a bad idea per-say,
I just feel in this case it would only make matters worse for
everyone.
