yum install vnc failure - missing dependencies - libavcodec

Are you running arch i386 or x86_64? Is your yum.conf correct? Are you using
a mixed repos env?

Anyway, "yum provides libxxxxx.so.xx" give you the package. If you own an
x86_64, chance are you have the libs required but for a different arch.
