I have found a solution.
from http://redhat.secsup.org/fedora/core/updates/5/i386/
reinstall
kernel-2.6.16-1.2133_FC5.i686.rpm
kernel-devel-2.6.16-1.2133_FC5.i686.rpm
kernel-doc-2.6.16-1.2133_FC5.noarch.rpm
boot the old, well working kernel and reinstall fglrx module from ati ( ati-driver-installer-8.26.18-x86 )
fglrx and eth0 are still on one interrupt without any trouble at all.
