You're talking about /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/rpm-spec-mode.elc
right? When you first mentioned it, I thought now that we know
who's responsible for .spec, it should be straightforward to
"port" it to C/C++. After seeing the .elc file, I'm thinking
holy crap!
