kernel 2145_FC5 (like 2139_FC5) still locks up my inspiron 9200

  when i recently upgraded my 9200 to the 2139 kernel, i suddenly
began having regular total lockups of my system -- sometimes during
boot, the rest of the time shortly thereafter, typically when the
desktop was being started.  eventually, i gave up on 2139 and resorted
to booting 2133, which worked just fine.

  i just upgraded to 2145, hoping that would solve the problem.  no
such luck.  two attempts at booting, two complete lockups when
starting the desktop.

  third time's a charm, guys?
