mythtv backend - any ideas?

Hi,

I'm trying to get the mythtv backend to work (I installed it from the
atrpms repo), but all it's telling me is

Starting mythbackend: Session management error: Authentication Rejected:
reason: None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and
host-based authentication failed.

First, what does that mean and second how do I fix it?
