I don't have a file called repos.d.conf .
I have a directory /etc/yum.repos.d/
which contains files describing the various repositories I use,
eg fedora-updates.repo .

In principle, you have to find a repo 
containing the package you are looking for,
and add a file for this repo to /etc/yum.repos.d/ .
