Does FC4 NetworkManager work with MadWiFi?

Has anyone got FC4 NetworkManager to work with the MadWiFi driver (and a 
DWL-G630 card)?

NetworkManager picks up the wired eth0 device but does not see or scan 
my ath0 wireless device.

The ath0 works fine with the standard network-config, but I would like 
to utilize the mobility capability of NetworkManager.

I have:

    * NetworkManager version 0.5.1-1.FC4.4
    * kernel-module-madwifi-2.6.17-1.2141_FC4 version 0.0-0.lvn.16.20060128

I suspect that the MadWiFi fix (http://madwifi.org/changeset/1380) for 
this is not in the current MadWiFi livna package as the livna package is 
from January and the current MadWiFi release is from May

Anyway to find out?
