Re-master / Customize FC5

hi

I'm after deleting a couple of rpm's out of the first CD on my FedoraCore 5 Distribution, remaking an iso image of my new Cd & trying to get it to install...

have come across a couple of articles, but in need something that is detailed.. IF the target article if for FC5, that would be an icing on the cake...
