FC5 Blender menus are broken

I have the exact same problem, on two machines here, one runs Rawhide
and the other FC6T1. One is a Xorg radeon (X300) and the other a Xorg
i810 (945GM). So this might be more a Mesa or blender problem than a
Xorg driver problem.
