FC5 DVD Image media check fails

Hi All,

I downloaded FC5 DVD iso, and verified checksum.
When i burned the image and used media check to test the DVD, it failed.

then i mounted the DVD and the image in separate directories and run 
"diff -r .."
on them. It does not show any difference between two directories.

What could be the reason for this?

also, is  ("diff -r .."+ bootable DVD) a reliable enough test ?
