Valid locale/charset combinations

Hi,

Writing a small test programme I found out certain locale/charset
combinations are not accepted when setting them with setlocale(). F.e.
after trying to set en_US.CP1252 or mk_MK.CP1251 setlocale() will still
report the locale being C.

Where can I find which locale/charset combinations are valid?
