OT: Virtualisation of dual-boot partitions

It doesn't do anything "emulate" the actual hardware, all virtual 
machines have the same set of virtual hardware devices. The 
VMWare docs suggest setting up separate hardware profiles for 
Windows running in both real and virtual machines:
