i ask the question.. because someone might have the answer. the answer might
also be of interest to others...

as far as the FC/RHEL issue, there is somewhat of a correlation between the
two OS systems... I'm just not sure of how much, nor am I sure of how close
RHEL correlates to FC...

Why would you come on a Fedora support list, and ask if you should try
Centos?
