Cannot install to new disk - succesfully installed to old disk

As I suspect that my 40GB WD drive isd failing, I've bought a new
160GB Maxtor unit. Yesterday I successfully installed FC5 to the WD
via DVD. But now, on the same machine with the Maxtor isntead of the
WD, the install proccess hangs at "Checking dependancies in packages
selected for installation." I've even tried default settings, but I
can't seems to install. Why could this be? Thanks.
