scim could active in en_US.utf-8 locale anymore

hi,
   After a updating to scim-1.4.4-9.3.fc5, I find that scim could be
actived in gnome appliction,
such as gedit or gnome-terminal. But yesterday, it worked fine. But it
can be actived in konsole,
though the input has problems. Anyone come through this problems?
